Joint Bid of 105 million RMB: QUNFENG "Solid Waste Utilization Brick" Project in Henan Province

Henan province is witnessing the transformation of household waste and construction waste into "gold bricks" after harmless treatment. Recently, QUNFENG Machinery and domestic well-known solid waste disposal service providers jointly bid and won the bid to build a large solid waste comprehensive utilization project. Currently, the technical engineers are doing the final debugging and the project will soon be put into production.

It is reported that the total investment of the project is 105 million RMB, covering an area of 15,000 square meters, including the construction of recycled aggregate plant, recycled brick plant, finished brick temporary storage area, comprehensive treatment workshop, comprehensive office building, etc. After the project is put into operation, it will be able to treat and reuse 200,000 tons of construction waste per year, 45 tons of slag produced by domestic waste incineration and 600 tons of construction waste and slag per day.

After the construction waste is closed for noise reduction, dust removal, sorting and crushing, the coarse and fine recycled aggregate of required specifications is generated, cement and other admixtures are added according to the ratio of special raw materials, and then the paving stones, concrete blocks and other concrete products meeting the requirements are produced through the automatic concrete products production line. The domestic waste needs to be fermented, and then the 'dry waste' is incinerated. The resulting waste residue can extract some metal materials such as iron and aluminum, and the rest can be used as raw materials for building bricks. In this way, we can realize the recycling, reduction and harmless treatment of construction waste and household waste, which is the real sense of turning waste into treasure." Comprehensive utilization is an effective way to deal with solid waste. In order to improve the level of comprehensive utilization of resources, the National Development and Reform Commission and other ten departments jointly issued the “Guiding Opinions on the Comprehensive Utilization of Bulk Solid Waste” in the 14th Five-Year Plan in March 2021, specifying that by 2025, the comprehensive utilization capacity of bulk solid waste such as coal gangue, fly ash, tailings (co-associated ore), smelting slag, industrial by-product gypsum, construction waste and crop straw should have been significantly improved, and the comprehensive utilization rate of bulk solid waste should have been increased by 60%.
