According to a report from Xinjing News on January 25th, the construction of the elevated bridge segment of the Padma Bridge Railway Link Project in Bangladesh, undertaken by China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC), has been completed. As the longest bridge constructed by a Chinese contractor outside of China, the Padma Bridge project is an important gateway connecting China and the Pan-Asia Railway, showcasing the practical achievements of China's participation in the Belt and Road Initiative. With the deepening cooperation between China and Bangladesh in the field of infrastructure, Qunfeng Machinery has further expanded its presence in the local market.

Bangladesh, located in South Asia, has a land area of less than 200,000 square kilometers but a population of nearly 200 million. Due to its limited land area and rapid population growth, Bangladesh faces numerous obstacles in economic development. With a single-industry structure and excessive reliance on agriculture, coupled with low levels of infrastructure development and frequent natural disasters, Bangladesh has always lagged behind in economic development. According to the World Bank's "Doing Business 2020" report, Bangladesh ranks 168th out of 190 economies worldwide.

Therefore, the Padma Bridge is hailed by the Bangladeshi as the "Bridge of Dreams." With the completion of this bridge, domestic transportation in Bangladesh will be greatly improved, and it is expected to boost GDP growth by over 1.23%. As the Padma Bridge project progresses smoothly, Chinese manufacturers' construction materials and equipment have gained access to the Bangladeshi market. Earlier this year, Qunfeng Machinery engineers successfully completed the final debugging work for another Bangladeshi customer, marking the further expansion of Qunfeng Machinery in the South Asian market.

Qunfeng Machinery's market expansion in Bangladesh can be traced back to 2004. After years of deep cultivation, multiple brick production lines have been put into operation locally, earning a good reputation in the market. Qunfeng Machinery has been involved in numerous large-scale infrastructure projects in Bangladesh. Thanks to these achievements, the Bangladeshi customer specifically arranged for senior company executives to visit China for further investigation and negotiation. After careful comparison, the high-level overall design, processing capacity, and assembly process of Qunfeng's equipment received high recognition from the customer, leading to a successful order placement.

The equipment purchased by the customer this time is the "Supersonic" QS1300 brick production line. Upon receiving the order, Qunfeng engineers immediately began designing the production line plan. Given the large amount of rainfall and humid climate in the Bangladesh region, with temperatures reaching up to 41°C in the summer, overcoming the challenges of construction in a humid and hot environment became the top priority for the technical team.

The project started in 2022, and to make the production line more suitable for the local humid and hot environment, Qunfeng's technical team conducted on-site surveys and optimized and customized the electrical motors and hydraulic components in the plan to enhance heat dissipation capabilities. To ensure the project could be completed with high quality and within a short timeframe, Qunfeng engineers actively carried out construction in the local humid and hot environment and completed the final debugging earlier this year.

Considering that Nepal and Bangladesh are both located in South Asia and have similar climate environments, Qunfeng specifically deployed Nepalese engineers to oversee the installation of the equipment for this customer. This allows them to develop corresponding installation strategies based on the local climate conditions during the installation process.

According to the Qunfeng after-sales department, this engineer belongs to Qunfeng's Indian office, which is one of the seven overseas service stations established by Qunfeng worldwide. When customers in South Asia encounter after-sales issues, Qunfeng's Indian office can promptly dispatch engineers to the project site, providing professional and high-quality after-sales service to solve problems quickly, ensure production, and save customers a significant amount of time and cost.

"Reputation stems from quality, and strength earns trust." Qunfeng's multiple successful orders from Bangladeshi customers in the past 20 years fully demonstrate the trust international customers place in Qunfeng Machinery's technical strength and equipment quality. With the Belt and Road Initiative as a major national strategy, Qunfeng Machinery will continue to uphold a rigorous service attitude and efficient service level, helping Bangladesh upgrade its infrastructure and winning more applause and recognition on the international brick equipment stage.
