From June 10 to 14, 2026, the 24th Syria International Exhibition for Construction and Building Materials (BUILDEX 2026) was grandly held at the Exhibition Center in Damascus, the capital of Syria. Currently, approximately 1.3 million housing units in Syria have been destroyed or severely damaged, and over 60% of urban infrastructure is paralyzed. Against this backdrop, BUILDEX has emerged as a key platform connecting global contractors and building material suppliers with Syria’s reconstruction needs.

The equipment frame features an all-welded manganese alloy structural steel construction, while the vibration table utilizes a military-grade, high-toughness alloy, ensuring long-term, stable operation under rigorous working conditions.

During the exhibition, Qunfeng Machinery’s booth attracted a large number of construction contractors, project developers, and representatives from building materials companies from both Syria and neighboring Middle Eastern nations who stopped by for business discussions. Through detailed product demonstrations and process walkthroughs, the Qunfeng team breaks down the fully automated production workflow spanning batching and molding to curing and palletizing for clients, delivering tailored, professional block-making solutions. The sample display area showcases a diverse range of high-quality products, including paving stones known for durability, large-format blocks that enable efficient installation, imitation stone bricks offering aesthetic appeal, and iridescent bricks providing unique visual effects, allowing visiting business partners to gain a firsthand appreciation of the exceptional molding technology and superior quality associated with Qunfeng equipment.

Following the lifting of sanctions on post-war Syria, the new government has launched a “National Infrastructure Recovery Plan”; the International Monetary Fund (IMF) projects that Syria’s construction sector will grow at an average annual rate of 8%–10% between 2025 and 2027, with the market size expected to exceed $22 billion by 2030. At the same time, the Syrian government is vigorously advancing the construction of affordable housing, with plans to deliver over 600,000 residential units by 2030, driving a continued surge in demand for associated building materials and construction equipment.
