QUNFENG Mechanical Supporting Trip to Africa

Since last year, sub-Saharan Africa has been leading the world in the growth rate of its infrastructure industry. The recovery of major markets such as Nigeria, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Ghana have enabled the whole region to maintain a positive growth momentum and is expected to become the fastest growing region in the world in the next decade.

Following the wave of infrastructure construction in Africa, Qunfeng Machinery received many orders from the related region. Recently, QUNFENG has just finished the installation and commissioning of the "Supersonic" QS1300 Automatic Brick Production Line in Cote d 'Ivoire, Qunfeng engineers also traveled to Madagascar to conduct the installation of the "Supersonic" QS1000 and QF400 Brick Production Line. Their next stop is Mauritius.

- Ivory Coast

Cote d 'Ivoire is famous for its cocoa beans and coffee. Cocoa production ranks first in the world, accounting for about 1/3 of the world's total production. Coffee production ranks first in Africa and third in the world.

Among other things, it has the largest and most modern port in West Africa, Abidjan. Upon completion of the second container terminal in Abidjan, it will rank first in Africa in terms of container throughput, with an annual throughput of 2.5 million containers, which will greatly shorten the time for ships to stay in port, attract more business investment and promote the economic and social development of Cote d 'Ivoire.

In the process of rapid economic development in Cote d 'Ivoire, Qunfeng Machinery "Supersonic" QS1300 Automatic Brick Production Line has been favored by local customers. Qunfeng engineers helped the customers to install and debug the equipment and now the whole production line has been put into production stably and efficiently. The production line mainly produce paving stone, concrete blocks, roof tiles and so on.

The "Supersonic" QS1300 with high-end servo vibration system increases efficiency by 20%, saves energy by 20% and reduces noise by 10%. At the same time, the equipment has a good adaptability to raw materials, and can meet a variety of solid waste resources comprehensive reuse to form recycled aggregate brick.

-- Madagascar

Madagascar, in the southeast of the African continent, is the fourth largest island in the world and the largest island in Africa, facing the African continent across the Mozambique Channel. Madagascar has an agrarian economy with a weak industrial base. In recent years, with the launch of the Madagascar Action Plan, the country has focused on infrastructure construction , housing and new cities, continuously improving its investment environment, enhancing its ability to attract foreign investment and achieving sustained economic growth.

The Madagascar customer chose Qunfeng Machinery's "Supersonic" QS1000 Automatic Brick Production Line. The QS1000 is a block making machine with strong performance. Its vibration system adopts high efficiency servo vibration,  saving energy and  reducing noise.

Another fully automatic block making machine QF400 is also popular among local customers. The equipment has the characteristics of compact models, less investment, small footprint and so on. Moreover, the structure of the design is more simple, which is the ideal choice for small and medium-sized investors.

Under the control of the core PLC intelligent system, QF400 can effectively shorten the brick forming cycle, ensure the quality of products and have good economic advantages, easy operation, less energy consumption, because of the strong stability of the equipment, but also greatly reduce the maintenance and replacement cost, has a strong competitiveness in the entry level models.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Mauritius. Despite being a small African country, Mauritius has a poverty rate (based on the international poverty line) of only 0.2%. According to the World Bank, Mauritius is already classified as a high-income economy, making it one of the most affluent countries in Africa (Mauritius GDP per capita reached $11,003.97 in 2018, six times the African average).

As the last step of the technical trip in Africa, Qunfeng engineers will install full-automatic block making machine QF400 for customers in Mauritius to provide customers with perfect brick-making services.

After completing the installation of all the new equipment, Qunfeng engineers will continue to stay in Africa for a period of time for the following after-sales service.  They would return to China at the end of August.
